Asian. Female. And tall. Well, maybe not that tall, but I am quite tall compared to most Asians. Its a tad annoying, really, since I actually wish I were short sometimes. But I also think its awesome I can see over so many of their heads and reach hard to places they can’t get to. Haha!

My first taste of video games was when my father brought home a Super Famicom. I remember being very enamored with my mom playing Super Mario Brothers and not realizing she was dying more than she was actually playing. I also really hated Mario in Donkey Kong Jr. because he’s the one whom I thought put DK Jr’s mommy in the cage like some kind of mean zoo keeper.

Since then, I’ve played numerous games but have fostered a preference for puzzle and RPGs. My first RPG was one of the Zelda games on the NES, with one of my favorites being Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinstrels for the SNES. It is probably the only game to date that has made me cry so hard that I have refused to ever watch the ending again because of how sad it was for me. At the same time, its dialogue and story was so amusing and interesting to me that I remember being incredibly engrossed in it for hours at a time.

As for online games, I have played only a small handful. I started out playing iRO when it was in beta and then P2P, and then quit after getting so incredibly frustrated with Gravity’s inept customer service. Another reason I had quit was because I had been looking at FFXI since it came out in Japan and was excited when it was finally released in the US. A former friend then gave me a world pass to join the Ragnarok server, I created an Elvaan and that is where my journey in the world of Vana’diel began. Since then I had created a Taru and named it Calaera, made many new friends, and even found that not even S-E is safe from being damned stupid when it comes to running an MMO. Despite how stupid S-E can be, I still manage to come back time and time again even after playing other MMOs (FlyFF, WoW, Shin Megami Tensei Online to name a few).

And, uh, yah. That’s me. I’m a dork but its ok. People still love me for it. :3
